Fragment 2 — Simple but Not Easy
Fragments are small offerings of stillness — a breath, a line of poetry, a brief reflection. Each one is simple enough to hold in a moment, but together they build something larger, like pieces of stained glass slowly forming a window.
By returning each day, we practise the art of beginning again. Nothing dramatic, nothing forced. Just a pause, a fragment, a chance to let the light through.
Today, like every day, is a beginning. Take a breath now as though nothing has gone before this moment.
I hope you weren’t expecting something more complicated. What we’re doing is simple, but not easy. Childlike in its apparent ease, stillness is the hardest thing to live.
The space is always here — yet we rush to fill it with work, family, and, more lately, the noise fired at us through a little object in our pocket.

Even in built up areas we can always look up and find our eternal blue sky
This isn’t a social space of shoulds, unwritten rules, or etiquette — no need to put your hand up for the teacher to see you.
It’s not a place for likes or comments out of habit or duty.
Here, silence is the only response needed.
The silence is the goodness we share and is our gift to each other.
